Stopt WhatsApp per 1 januari op jouw telefoon?

WhatsApp zal alleen nog werken op Android-toestellen met het Android-besturingssysteem versie 4.1 of hoger. Op iPhones heb je besturingssysteem iOS 12 of hoger nodig. Ook smartphones van Huawei, LG, Samsung en Sony worden geraakt door hogere eisen. 

WhatsApp waarschuwt je

Als jouw telefoon in de 'gevarenzone' zit, dan krijg je een waarschuwing van WhatsApp voordat de app stopt met werken. WhatsApp raadt je in dat geval aan om over te stappen naar een nieuwere smartphone. 

Op deze telefoons stopt WhatsApp per 1 januari:
